2025 Annual Firefighter Appreciation Dinner
On January 22, 2025, The Forks Restaurant once again hosted our annual awards night. They provided a banquet for us complete with a huge cake and our logo artfully done in full-color icing! We greatly appreciate their continued support, as they are the hub of this wonderful Livermore Valley.
Firefighter of The Year award is voted on by all our first responders, and this year the honoree is Patrick Haas, call sign Livermore 49, and well deserved. Patrick is one of our most prolific responders, and just recently joined the ranks of Livermore Fire’s many EMT’s. Congratulations!
Each year several guests are invited to join us, most of whom we interact with one way or another throughout the year at our calls. Guests this year were: Darren Tremblay, MD, our medical director who we can consult with for difficult medical emergencies. ***John Kefalas, County Commissioner District 1, he has been very supportive of our various projects. ***Sgt. Kevin Johnston, Larimer County Emergency Services, Kevin or one of his staff are always there for our wildland fires. ***Capt. Tim Keeton, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Operations, providing law enforcement support, such as for wildland fire evacuations.***
Jeff “Bam” Basamanowicz and Tyler Allen, Larimer County Emergency Services Paramedics, in addition to the UCH ambulances which come to all medicals, are most willing to respond to our more serious medical calls and motor vehicle incidents.
Thank you to all our volunteer first responders for showing up to medicals, fires and crashes anytime night and day! We not only serve all of our Livermore community, but also attend to the many issues that occur on 27miles of Highway 287, from Haystack Rock to the Wyoming border.
