2025 - Training Recap
Prepared to Serve. Committed to Safety.
In 2025, the Livermore Fire Protection District focused heavily on training to ensure we’re ready for any emergency our community may face. Throughout the year, our volunteers completed hours of training, covering essential skills like structural firefighting, vehicle extrication, water supply, wildland fire tactics, and communications.
We held monthly in-house exercises and participated in joint training drills with neighboring departments, focusing on multi-agency response simulations. These trainings help improve communication, safety, and coordination during complex incidents.
Medical response training remained a key focus, with volunteers updating CPR and first aid certifications, such as EMT-Basic, to meet the growing demand for EMS calls.
We’re proud of our department’s commitment to training and grateful for the community’s ongoing support.
Training isn’t just preparation—it’s our promise to serve and protect with skill, safety, and professionalism.
