2026 Annual Firefighter Appreciation Dinner

The Forks restaurant, the perennial gathering place for our
Livermore Fire dinner and other Livermore Community events, on
January 20, 2026 opened their doors to us and our guests. And once
again, provided a wonderful meal complete with a very large cake
displaying our firefighter logo.

FIREFIGHTER OF THE YEAR: Each year our responders are given the
opportunity to select that person who has gone above and beyond
in their contributions to the department. This year our honoree is Al
Cassalia, a most-deserving firefighter who is not only highly
valuable on the fireground and medical scene but selflessly donates
countless hours of time and energy in keeping our aging fleet of fire
and medical apparatus roadworthy. Thank you Al, and this award
carries a guarantee that you will never leave us!

YEARS OF SERVICE PINS:
Assistant Chief Joel Funk: 15 years
Chief Joel Meeter & Captain Craig Kling, 10 years:
Patrick Haas, 5 years.
