In Memoriam

Lloyd Schott

On December 16, 2024 Livermore Fire lost a great man to the effects

of a lengthy illness battle.  Captain Lloyd Schott was a person who

always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.  He was an ASE

Master Mechanic who for 35 years taught Vocational Auto

Mechanics, and was instrumental in keeping our fleet of fire engines,

ambulance and rescue vehicles on the road.  Lloyd was raised on a

farm in Waverly, CO and had a lifelong passion for vintage tractors

which he kept at home in Cherokee Meadows.

Firefighter/First Responder Lloyd is survived by his wife of 46 years,

Julie, and two sons, Nathan and Trevor. REST IN PEACE, BROTHER.
